My Story

Enthusiasm and determination have defined Karen from an early age. At five years old, she was already cheering on her brothers at basketball games—determined that one day she would be a varsity cheerleader herself. That dream became reality her freshman year of high school, and her passion for encouraging others has remained a constant ever since.

Karen is known for championing success while standing steady during life’s more challenging seasons. Whether in her career as a regional manager or raising her son—who earned the distinction of HBS Baker Scholar in 2020—she has relied on these qualities to build strong relationships and provide meaningful support.

She has served as a board member and committee chairperson for the Centerville Noon Optimists, the largest Optimist Club in the world. Karen is also a past president of the Gem City American Business Women’s Association and a member of the Springboro Chamber of Commerce.

My Bio

With more than 25 years of experience in customer service and client relationship management, Karen holds the Financial Services Certified Professional® (FSCP®) designation and serves as an Associate with The Lyon Group.

She believes financial guidance should be personal, accessible, and built on trust. Attuned to life’s many transitions, Karen approaches each client’s relationship with integrity, respect, and genuine enthusiasm. Clients value her thoughtful guidance, honest conversations, and steady support whenever questions arise.

Prior to joining The Lyon Group, Karen was a Regional Program Manager with Dietz & Watson.

Karen and her husband, Tom, are seasoned home renovators who enjoy hiking, biking, and traveling with their family.
